What don’t I get when I order the Express WordPress Installation service?
This service doesn’t cover:
Domain name/web hosting purchase or setup.
You’ll need to have your own web hosting already set up, and have your server details ready to supply to your expert so that they can get started.
If you need help finding a web host, we have some recommendations here.
Further customization.
This purchase doesn’t cover any further customization to your site’s design or functionality, beyond adding your website’s name/logo and the theme’s demo content.
If you need some further customization done, then your expert can help you with this for an additional fee.
Uploading additional site content.
Your expert will upload any demo content that is included with your theme (see here for more information on this), but this doesn’t include any additional content (e.g. your own content from another website). If you need to migrate some content across from another website, then your expert can help you with this for an additional fee.
What content will be installed on my website?
Your expert will install any demo content that is included with your theme. However, this doesn’t guarantee that your website will look exactly like the theme’s Live Preview.
Some themes come with the demo content shown in the theme’s Live Preview. Other themes come with different demo content altogether, and some themes do not come with any demo content at all.
This service doesn’t cover the migration of any of your existing content into your new website.
I’ve had my theme installed, but how do I get my theme further customized?
You can also request additional work from your expert by proposing a custom job once your job has started.
What if I don’t have web hosting for my site?
It’s required to get the installation service done. You can ask the expert for the suggested Web Hosting services.
I already have WordPress site up and running, can I use the Express WordPress Installation service to have a new theme installed on my existing website?
No – if you already have an WordPress website which has content that you want to keep, then our Express WordPress Installation service is probably not right for you.
This service is designed for setting up brand new websites and getting them ready for you to start adding content. Modifying existing content to make sure that it works with a new theme is beyond the scope of this service.
Don’t worry though – if you need help setting up a new theme on your existing website, you’ll find a talented service provider in our WordPress Customization category who can help you.
Please note that if you do decide to order the Express WordPress Installation service to be carried out on your existing site, your existing content may be lost or reformatted. Make sure to back up all of your content first if you do decide to do this.
Does this service include the set up of Google Maps?
On June 22, 2016 Google updated Google Maps and how they work on external sites, including within WordPress themes. As part of this change, any instances of Google Maps after this date require a unique API key to work correctly. You can read more about this change here.
Studio’s Express WordPress Installation service does not include the setup of Google Maps, however your service provider may be able to assist with this for an additional fee.
For information on connecting your theme with Google Maps, we recommend contacting your theme’s author via their dedicated support page on ThemeForest.
I have a site hosted on WordPress.com can I get a ThemeForest theme installed?
Since WordPress.com does not support the installation of external themes when on a basic plan, WordPress.com users are unable to install themes via this service unless they are on a WordPress.com Business plan. More information on the difference between WordPress.com, WordPress.com Business and self-hosting can be found here:

If you still would like your purchased theme installed, you will need to either upgrade to a plan that supports third-party themes or purchase separate hosting so that your assigned provider can install the WordPress CMS and your theme. You can see a number of recommended hosts here:
Purchasing external hosting will still allow you to keep your chosen URL.
